Training of Trainers (ToT) Course in Ramallah

The Palestinian Center for the Independence of the Judiciary and the Legal Profession - MUSAWA and members of the Palestinian HRD Network, held the fourth ToT course over the period, 15-17 December 2015,  in Ramallah.

This course was the fourth of its kind, designed to train new members of the HRD network through an intensive three-days' training in the essentials of organising and facilitating workshops on human rights issues with vulnerable groups in underserved communities. The course was led by professional trainer, Thuqan Qishawi, and facilitated by 4 members of the HRD network who undertook the initial 6-months' training in Y1 of the project, "Empowering Palestinian Human Rights Defenders".

More than 30 participants graduated from the 3-day course and many of them have already begun preparing workshops in hard-to-read communities on a variety of issues including: the law and minors, eviction and rent, and workers' rights specifically targeting working women.

This training course is part of the project, 'Empowering Palestinian Human Rights Defenders', implemented by MUSAWA and funded by the EU.
